HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

January 2022: Well today marks the beginning of CCQC's 7 Months-ish Anniversary, and we're still waiting for flying cars. So many things have happened since we opened in June. June 11 to be exact. The feeling of having an "empty" shop is in the past and now we're trying to figure out where to put it all!! :) my biggest lesson learned so far in this journey is-pay your bookeeper well!!! Seriously what a whirlwind of people, blessings and ideas! Our minds just keep coming up with fun stuff we can do at the Shop this year and all the great fabrics, classes and discounts we can offer all our Friends!

Did you Know:  Kim Lantis joined the crazy train in December and has been a valuable asset to the Shop. Andy doesn't have to listen to Brandy cry, and Kim is a fabric cutting machine! She cut so many Batiks for our 2022 Illusions Sampler πŸ’Ÿand keeps the Shop full of a variety of fat quarters and one yard cuts! Together we equal fabric addicted, smart-alecky and a whole lot of fun!! We are working to create some fun Clubs and Classes this year, and really PUMP UP THE VOLUME!

Her Bio is as follows:
My start with sewing was well.....a disaster.  I couldn't sew shorts in Home-Ec in school.  Then a couple years later (haha) my sister bought me a Singer Sewing Machine at a yard sale.   After I was done laughing I ended up at a quilt shop and signed up for a beginner class.  I didn't even know how to thread the machine.  Well that was about 20 years ago and now my sister is still laughing but also impressed where I ended up with it.  I love to quilt.

Battle Rhythm: We're finally getting into synchronicity-The absolutely BEST part of any day at the Shop, is seeing all the lovely fabrics bought, be turned into lovely things. Bags, Pillows, Trays, Wall Hangings, Quilts or whatever. The Classroom Schedule is staring to fill up with some unique and FUN classes. We have a whole gammit of people who love to teach, have taught or want to start teaching SOMETHING this year! Come One, Come All- we have a little more interest in Open Sew Saturdays-(when Class is not in session) Call the Shop and get your name on the list to come in and Sew with friends or reserve for a Group :) Per Person is $5 Group cost is $25 Why sew at the Shop? Enjoy visiting, look at the latest products, stay warm and enjoy coffee or tea. It's always fun when FedEx or UPS shows up too 😍

What's Next? Classes, Clubs, Retreats, FaceBook Live, YouTube tutorials and Special VIP Rewards and Pricing We are still looking for Club Ambassadors to help lead; Featherweight Friends, Totes and Bag Ladies, Tula Pink Troopers, Machine Embroidery Maniacs, Mastermind Makers and Crab Creek Kids Club Check our website Calendar at https://www.crabcreekquiltingcompany.com   for Club Meeting dates. Thank you to all who continue to Cheer for us here at Crab Creek Quilting Company!!πŸ’—
